March 16th - The People's Surge against Obamacare 2.0

Please join us in DC to lobby our congressmen to VOTE NO on Obamacare 2.0. Join us Tuesday, March 16th, beginning at 9:00am outside the Cannon House Office Building (Independence Ave. SE and New Jersey SE). We will be storming the three House Office Buildings: Cannon, Longworth and Rayburn. Our message is simple: VOTE NO on Obamacare 2.0.

FreedomWorks will be joining Tea Party groups and all other organizations that are fighting to defeat Obamacare 2.0. Please meet us in front of the Cannon House Office Building to pick up an area map, office locations, talking points and lobbying tips. If you can't make it to DC for this important event, please visit the local office of your congressman. You can find the office location by visiting http://house.gov

Please make sure that you find out where your congressmen is, and then go inside and ask his staff for a face to face meeting. Stay there as long as you have to in order to get a meeting. Ask your friends who couldn't make it to DC to call Tuesday morning to say that they support you, but that they couldn't make it themselves. This will send a powerful message to your congressman.

Longworth House Office Building has a cafeteria where you can grab lunch. Also, some have asked where the closest metro stop is. It's Capitol South on the Blue/Orange lines.

Colleen- I've gotten some feedback about why the "four" did a complete 180. Most say it's due to the Unions??? You may want to try and dig a little to find out who is behind this, then we can attack the others that changed their minds. My husband is already there with a niece, they will be at the Cannon Bldg at 9am speaking with Brendan. I will be there next weekend. Never dreamed I would ever need an apartment in DC. Colleen - Reps changed from a NO vote to a YES vote today, I would visit them first. The are: Jason Altmire -PA voted yes on Stupak and No on Health care and is now voting NO? He's in Cannon 332. #2 John Boccieri (OH) voted yes on Stupak and no on healthcare, but is voting YES now? he's in 1516 Longworth. #3 Bart Gordon (TN) voted yes on Stupak and no on healthcare, but is voting YES on obamacare?, he's in 2306 Rayburn. #4 Brian Baird, Washington, voted yes on Stupak, but is voting yes for O'care??? He's in 2350 Rayburn. See Brendan and they will have the hand outs.

Hello All-I will not be their until 11AM.I would be happy to join a few people who may have a Congressman on the fence, such as those who voted for the Stupak Amendment. Power in numbers. I will pay attention to any responses on my blackberry.
